I’m either gradually getting a better sense of writing as a craft or I’m procrastinating.  As I start some revisions for Duty of Care my instinct is that I need to do some re-plotting.  I think I’ve two novels here not one.  The trouble is I did rather more than warm to my subject, I positively over-heated.

I’m unpicking at the moment.  It’s intricate, perhaps a dissection is a better image.

The work needs to move from being a good yarn to a page turner.  For now I’m focusing on the new, streamlined plot.  More writing.  Better pacing but you know, that’s the job.  It’s an extraordinary one, let’s face it.
