Thrilled to be one of seven chosen to make a three minute pitch about SLEIGHT OF HAND in front of an illustrious panel of judges at this year’s Bloody Scotland.
The event will take place on Sunday 13 September at 10am in the Stirling Highland Hotel in Stirling, obviously. If you are about and can come, the more moral support the better!
This year the panel is chaired by leading literary agent Jenny Brown and includes Karen Sullivan of Orenda Publishing, Jo Dickinson of Simon & Schuster and Emad Akhtar of Penguin. I’m OK saying this very quickly. If I think about it for too long, well let’s just say the proximity of the nearest loo becomes increasingly important!
I am delighted. Whatever the outcome, the thoughts and input from such an auspicious wing of dragons (in the TV series sense) will be extraordinary. Who’s a lucky bunny, then? Perhaps not the best image to choose. Don’t dragons eat bunnies on cocktail sticks as pre-drinks snacks?
